AcuraLink is a connected services platform that links your vehicle to your smartphone, offering a range of convenient features. With AcuraLink, you can remotely lock and unlock doors, start or stop the engine, and easily locate your vehicle. It also assists in case of theft by helping law enforcement track your car. Additionally, AcuraLink enhances your driving experience with various other services designed to improve convenience and safety.
The Acura MDX is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features under the AcuraWatchâ„¢ umbrella:
- Collision Mitigation Braking Systemâ„¢ (CMBSâ„¢): Detects potential collisions and applies the brakes to reduce or prevent impact.
- Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM): Detects when the vehicle is about to leave the road and can apply the brakes or adjust steering to prevent accidents.
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): Maintains a set speed and adjusts automatically to match the speed of the vehicle ahead.
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS): Helps keep the vehicle centered in its lane.
- Forward Collision Warning (FCW): Alerts the driver of an imminent collision with a detected vehicle.

The MDX offers extensive customization options, including a variety of exterior colors, interior trims, and accessories such as roof racks, all-weather mats, and illuminated door sills. You can further personalize your MDX with packages like Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and Type S, each offering unique features to suit your preferences.
Your vehicle will prompt you when it's time to replace the cabin and engine air filters, typically every 15,000 miles or one year. A dirty engine air filter can reduce airflow, affecting performance and fuel efficiency, while an overdue cabin filter can harbor bacteria and mold, compromising air quality.
1. Check for Updates: Ensure your vehicle is parked safely with the engine running or in accessory mode.
2. Connect to Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to a reliable network.
3. Check for Software Updates: Navigate to Settings > About > Software Updates, and select "Check for Updates."
4. Download and Install: Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install any available updates. Keep the vehicle on during the process.
5. Completion: Once the update is done, restart the system if prompted.
6. Verify Update: Return to Settings > About to confirm the software version is up to date.
